South King County STEM Network Plan

Outcomes of the South King County STEM Network plan are to put in place systems to advance STEM education in the seven Road Map districts resulting in:

  • significantly better academic outcomes for students;
  • a higher number of students prepared for college level math and science; and
  • an increase in the number of under-represented students going into science, technology, engineering and/or math, STEM fields.

The three priority areas  identified by the Network to increase student outcomes include: 1. Build Awareness & Enthusiasm for STEM, 2. Provide Real World STEM Learning Opportunities, 3. Develop Student STEM Literacy & 21st Century Skills.
